I was assigned 10 yards of Supima white cotton to work with. I was puzzled to create a design that followed my main focus on evening wear during my senior year, as well as aimed to the zero-waste goal. I am in loved with how well the fabric was holding and expressing the dye, and how nicely it went under the laser cutting machine. I carefully planned the laser cutting machine to use almost all of the fabric with different cuts to create flower motif and its different layers for the zero-waste goal. Then, I used fabric dye to apply some color on each flowers, and hand-sewn each of them together and into the dress, and final touched with pearls.
